Daniel C. Jackson, III has been an attorney in the Criminal Department since 2005.  Mr. Jackson represents clients on all types of criminal and traffic matters throughout the Hudson Valley.  He has tried cases to verdict in New York and the Commonwealth of Virginia.  He has successfully defended numerous clients charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) related offenses, drug offenses, larceny and burglary offenses and sex offenses as felonies and misdemeanors at trial, suppression hearings and Department of Motor Vehicle Administrative Hearings.  Mr. Jackson also has vast experience assisting clients resolve traffic infractions in local justice courts.

Mr.  Jackson is a 1995 graduate, magna cum laude, of the University at Albany with degrees in History and Criminal Justice.  He is also a 1999 graduate of the George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC.  Mr. Jackson also practiced law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.  He practiced criminal law, personal injury law and domestic relations law for more than five years prior to returning to his home state and joining the firm.

Mr. Jackson is a member of the Orange County Bar Association.  He is also a member of the Middletown Bar Association and served as its President in 2010.

Mr. Jackson resides in Marlboro where he was born and raised.  He has been married to his wife for more than 20 years and they have three children.  He has served as a youth baseball, softball and basketball coach for many years.  In addition, Mr. Jackson assisted as an attorney advisor for the Marlboro Central High School Mock Trial team for four years.

Mr. Jackson was elected in 2015 as a Town Justice for the Town of Marlborough Justice Court where he presides over felony arraignments and preliminary hearings, misdemeanor offenses, traffic infractions, Landlord Tenant matters and small claims actions.
