Milana Tepermayster, Esq., was recently successful in obtaining custody for a client, who is the mother of two children.

The parties are married, have two children and the Father abruptly left the marital residence in 2017. The testimony from both parties described the involvement of both parents in the children's lives. However, the relationship between the parents was volatile. The parties often argued in front of the children and the testimony clearly evidenced the Father's violent and explosive temper, especially if he did not get his way.

After hearing, upon the testimony of the parties and the evidence presented at trial, the Court found that it was in the best interest of the children for sole legal and physical custody to be awarded to the Mother. The Court found that the Mother was the parent best suited to meet the needs of the children.
