Jodi Appel-Kaplan is an Associate Attorney in the Matrimonial Department. A native of New York, Ms. Appel-Kaplan attended the University of Florida where she graduated with Honors and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. Thereafter, Ms. Appel-Kaplan returned to New York where she received her Juris Doctorate from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2001, was admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey in 2001 and in the State of New York in 2002. Ms. Appel-Kaplan began her legal career working as an intern for the Honorable Jacqueline W. Silbermann, the Deputy Administrative Law Judge for Matrimonial Matters for the State of New York and continued her legal career as an attorney for the City of New York litigating child abuse and neglect cases for the Administration for Children's Services. Ms. Appel-Kaplan has also served as a Court Attorney to the Honorable Lore Currier-Woods in Orange County Family Court.
