Brian D. Acard
Brian Acard has been admitted to the New York State Bar since 1989. He is also admitted in the Federal Southern District of New York. He has been litigating primarily personal injury cases in courtrooms and before juries throughout his 20 year career. He has represented clients both from the plaintiff's and defendant's perspective. Such extensive trial experience has provided Mr. Acard with a great deal of insight as to courtroom strategies employed by both sides in a case.
Mr. Acard has successfully represented clients who have been catastrophically injured in accidents involving the New York City Subways, construction sites, motor vehicles and unsafe premises.
Mr. Acard is a graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh where he majored in secondary education and American history. He taught eighth grade American history for one year before attending law school at Ohio Northern University. He is happily married to his wife, Renee', and is the proud father of two children, Michael and Lisa. He resides in Hyde Park, New York.
