Today is the last day at work for one of Orange County DA Frank Phillips' most accomplished prosecutors: Craig Brown, who's taking a job with the powerhouse Newburgh law firm of Larkin, Axelrod, Ingrassia & Tetenbaum.
Brown, who also worked in the Queens DA's office, is perhaps best-known for his successful prosecution of Kevin Griffin, the Town of Crawford cop who assassinated 22-year-old Timothy Ruiz at the Galleria at Crystal Run in 2004.

August 2010 - John Ingrassia was able to work out a very favorable plea bargain with the prosecutor's office and the local justice court in Orange County. After our client was stopped for speeding by police, the officer detected odor of marijuana and the driver admitted to having recently consumed marijuana.
