July 2011 - Client's conviction for DWAI successfully overturned

John Ingrassia and Kathleen Wells teamed up to successfully overturn a client's conviction for DWAI. The NY State Supreme Court Appellate Term for the 9th and 10th Judicial Districts held that our attorneys were correct in their legal arguments that the prosecution filed an improper accusatory instrument which they took the defendant to trial on. As a result of the decision the DWAI conviction was reversed and the charge was dismissed.
