2009 Michael Kolb recently settled two product liability cases on behalf of workers whose arms were fractured while they were working on a machine that is used in the production of styrofoam cups. The machine was defective in that it did not have adequate guards to prevent such accidents. The manufacturer of the machine paid is excess of $1 million to the two injured workers.
