2008 An Ulster County jury awarded a client in excess of $5,000,000 in case tried by Larkin Axelrod Ingrassia & Tetenbaum. The plaintiff was a barge captain who was injured as the result of a defective ladder. He suffered a fractured leg which required multiple surgeries. The case was brought under the Jones Act & general maritime law. The defendant has appealed the jury's verdict.
